  • Does any1 else notice a chargers jersey in the pile of clothes? :D

  • Everytime I see this commercial I want to punch everyone in this sick commercial right in their f*ucking mouth!!!! I hate this commercial!!! Go to hell, IBM!!!! Stay out of my house!!!

  • You are all saying that machines will replace our jobs and leave us uthout money. But do you really need money? All you need is to eat, what if food was free? There was a time were you didn't need money to live and have a quality life. Money was created so kings could take something from the people.

We shouldn't stop making innovations for the fear of losing our jobs. We should worry about how are the innovations going to help our planet.

  • It doesn't take much intelligence to realise that there are two issues behind all this. The easy one is how to innovate so that no one has to spend their lives on mind numbing jobs like supermarket cashiering, or worse. The difficult one is how to ensure an equitable distribution of the fruits of that innovation. Is IBM THINKing about such issues?

  • A smarter planet? We're cannibalizing our futures with our greed. Tomorrows hangover will hurt, but I suppose the global population begged to be controlled. Your children's children, how will they fair?

The easy to use e-cashier at my supermarket ultimately means someone loses their job. Do IBM engineers consider this? Or are they limited to abundant other-than-social intelligence leaving them to walk the room in anticlockwise circles due to the weight of their left brains? Change. Now.

  • @glennjgd
