Garth Brooks "stole" 'The Dance' fron Tony Arata. Mark Chesnutt put 'Friends In Low Places" out before Garth did. Mark Chesnutt sang "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' after Aerosmith sang it. Diane Warren wrote the song in the first place. Darrell Scott wrote 'It's A Great Day To Be Alive', sung by Travis Tritt. George Strait co-wrote 2 songs between 1980 and approx 2005. Jeffery Steele wrote "What Hurts The Most", among countless other Rascal Flatts songs.

Brantley Gilbert is an awesome singer but he's also a smart man, he knows that to make money you have to get your songs played, wether you sing them or not. And JTP389, that is the way the music business goes period. It doesn't just happen in country music.

I like both versions. I respect the fact that brantley wrote some of these songs, but the publicity for BG doesn't hurt and I love Jason aldean's voice when he sings. It's like he's putting his own mark on tha songs-I love Jason Aldean's voice when he sings :)

I personally like BG for all the songs he lent to Aldean, but I do like Aldeans version of my kinda party better.. all just personal preference though

In response to all of the other comments, BG is great. Just saw in live with Eric Church two days ago. That was the third time I've seen him live. Jason Aldean is great as well. Seen him live several times too. BG lets Jason do his songs because Jason makes them famous, which in turn makes BG famous. Think about the business side of it.

the words of the song is what you should listen to , this is a beautifullll song , and Jason sings it amazingly . so if you don't like it why the hell are you wasting your time listening to it ? go somewhere else .

i totally agree that he isnt stealing songs, but i think when a song is done so beautifuly the original way & they were already on the internet that they should be left alone, bg is just breakin into big time everyone where im from knows him but not everyone does & i just think it sucks for him to use & change beautiful songs i absoluetly love Jason Aldean but this last album i had already heard almost every song on it from bg first i just think he needs to do his own stuff he is a good artist
