FC Twin Review by CGV

Review of the latest model FC Twin. NES sound and colour issues have been fixed from what I can tell. Unfortunately, I don't have a Castlevania 3 cart to test so I'm not sure if that game works yet or not.

Hi! Ive read that this console is region free from the get go. Can it play European/Japanese SNES games? I understand it can't take NES Famicom carts but i got a Famicom console for that. I'm a collector aswell and right now im using a converter for my famicom and it can get annoying at times cause it gets really sensetive. Slightest move and the game freezes cause of all the contacts that needs to work. Ive looked around and the FC Twin seems like a pretty good buy

@Napalmburns Yea it's completely region free, all areas get the same version of FCTwin, since it's sort of unauthorized to begin with there's no region checking.

@UserOfTheUnknown Me too! Whenever anybody tries to claim the Genesis couldn't do good thumping audio, I play this for them. Usually settles the issue.

how can you tell the different variations of the fc twin your going to get?

@DCKar2nist the newer ones with accurate sound have a shiny 'jeweled' Yobo logo on the front. The older ones don't have that.

RetroN 3 has NES, SNES and Genesis. Has wireless controllers, plus ports for each of those systems to use original controllers. This is still bomb though.

when was this model released? mine was sept. 2009 and i just want the sound to be perfect. The older model has awful sound
