You'll only understand once you experience it. Once you do, you'll know its not all in your mind because the feeling is very real and divine. There will be an overflow in blessings and all problems will start having solutions because you'll start seeing that there is way more to life than all this. And that there is no other way one can get to heaven after you die, unless you finally accept Him. And once u do, He the God of all will impart some of His great wisdom and understanding for u all.

Good question Midway. I think because when people cant do something, they feel inadequate. Feeling of inadequacy often cause people to hate. SImilar with understanding things. When people cant understand something they say it is useless.
When people cant play Etudes like the guy down the street all the nice women fall for, they get jealous. They might run him out of town, set his car on fire kill him even. Violence and hatred ignorance, facism... all symptoms of a bad heart.

A very nice poetic twist on biblical words.
I'm not religious as an atheist I don't believe in any higher power, but I can appreciate poetry in many forms.
This is very well put together and although I've never heard of Mary Hession before, this really makes me want to read more of her work...
