Anyone who complains about the beep that comes from their computer when it boots up clearly doesn't know a lot about computers, or just might not know about the beep. The beep was intentionally placed to allow the user to know that the computer is either fine or not. In my HP Compaq, if there is something wrong with any internal parts, it will beep continuously, but if everything is fine, then it will beep once.
