Sharpe

Sharp was made for Sean Bean, I could never think of anyone else that could play the part of Sharp any better. I am a fan of Sean Bean, and I feel that he can do no wrong in what ever film or TV series he does. The song Over the hills and far away was sung by John Tams who played Daniel Hagman in the sharp series.

Whoever is supportive of a Sharpe re-make/movie wants hanging. Just leave it as it is, a fantastic piece of television.

they should make a movie of sharpe. but i didn't think sean bean was that great, for 1 he had blond hair, sharpe's hair is black. 2 he had a strong northern accent, whereas sharpe comes from london so he obviously wouldn't have a northern accent. i think christian bale would make a good sharpe

Ok you have made some good points but I myself still think Sean Bean portrays sharp well, I couldent see anyone else playing the part insted of Sean. As for a movie well that would be great but it would have to be Sean as sharp.

The picture at 00:50 of the lads in a tree has Paul McGann instead of Sean Bean.

@cheesesandwich555 Even auther Bernard Cornwell became convinced that Bean WAS Sharpe, once he saw him in it. As far as Christian Bale, I don't think so. Sean Bean is of slight build, so he always seems the scrappy underdog in fights. Any actor more heavily built or muscular, wouldn't look like he's "winning against the odds" in those fights.
