Israel A State of Its Citizens? - Part 1

Israel should be a state of all its citizens, not a state that belongs to one part of its population. Israel defines itself as a Jewish state. It's not just a question of definition or nature. It's...

This is incorrect, especially the part about the supposed "re-iteration of the theme of Israel's destruction" "in recent times." During the 2008 ceasefire - which 'Hamas was careful to uphold', according to Israel's Defense Ministry online report - Hamas extended the offer of negotiations on the pre-1967 borders and promised a 10-year ceasefire upon the settlement. The notion of 'promises of Israel's destruction' is spacious: Israel's destroying Palestine and, unlike Iran, has the bomb.

Well, it's nice to see a video made about the "other side" of this issue. American media is so one-sided, as it is on many subjects. This is rather interesting.

@barakooda: Perhaps it's because these people living in Israel, and calling themselves "Israelites", aren't really Israelites in the first place. Maybe they're impostures?

@pinkcanary: This is what our controlled media tells us, but is it true? To think American media isn't slanted would be erroneous. After witnessing who got the shorter end of the stick, I conclude that the Israelis have dealt the Palestinians a terrible blow of injustice. I don't believe Iran would harbor such resentment towards the Israelis had the Israelis been an honest peace broker in the region.

Israel is an ethnocracy and not a democracy. A country that was built on the blood and pillaging of another nation. Over 800,000 Palestinians were evicted from their homes, over 500 Palestinian villages were destroyed by Israeli terrorists - who later became key figures in the state of Israel e.g. Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres, Ariel Sharon, Moshe Dayan etc etc.

In fact all the countries in the Middle east are exclusievely arab most of them exclusievely muslim. Palestinian authority basic law states that Palestine is a islamic country with shariah law as a base for juditiory. Saudi Arabia Islamic republic of Iran have laws which clearly states that not all citisens are equal.Israel in fact went to far in giving some rights to minority and Arabic is equaly offitial language in Israel (unpresidented rights)
