Tammy Dickinson, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced at a press conference Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, that Teresa L. York of Blue Springs, the former court administrator for the Jackson County Circuit Court, pleaded guilty in federal court to a fraud scheme which the government contends she embezzled nearly $140,000 from the circuit court. Her Kansas counterpart, Barry Grissom and FBI Special Agent in Charge Michael Kaste were also present.
