Improvisation : metal cello 2 (read description)

This is an overview of my new electro-acoustic cello. All the sound you hear comes through direct input, no acoustic sound (that's why you can't hear me talking ^^).
I've had a problem while recording, so that even the "clean" sound is distorted, and the distorted sound has a massive distortion.
Not great music, but still.

For those who wonder : the pieces at the begining are the Gigue from Bach's 1st suite, and the 1st movement from Haydn's cello concerto in C major. I know, it's terrible, I haven't practiced this pieces for months if not years

Setup :
Cello - Gougi EAC4, 2011
Bow - italian, ca. 1900
Strings - Velvet cello
Pedal - Boss DS1
Recording - Microsoft tape recorder (lol - I guess the problem is this)
No numeric FX-mixing-prod... - it's the raw sound.

so your cello is built with an internal pickup? or do you have one attached to the bridge? I'm looking into an electric setup for my cello but would rather not buy a brand new cello. any suggestions?

@3519dunn You can also use this pickup (schertler stat c) as an external pickup, with an external preamp. It works well, without being "all in one" though.

Other solutions : clip-on mic like the DPA 4099C, or transducer like Barcus Berry 3125, or condenser cell like AKG C411''... Or more !

1st bach suite <3 sound is very agressive, but like it. you have huge talent to metal improvisation, i love pizzicato moment.
