The 67 IH 503 and the 67 Allis Chalmers CII Gleaner combines in organic wheat in central Alberta. The Gleaner consistantly had a much cleaner sample than the IH no matter how much tinkering I did with the settings...beautiful little combine.

  • Where did you buy your C2? My dad had a 1967 C2 he sold around 1990 near Dysart, Saskatchewan. I guess there are likely a few of these machines around but would be interesting if same machine.

  • I have never seen another C2 anywhere other than mine. I still look on a regular basis for another one. I bought this from a guy here around Edmonton. Doubt that it made the trip from Sask but you never know. My 766 came from Moose Jaw.

  • no, we're in central Alberta. Very near the city of Edmonton.

  • got to have a short fingered sieve in the bottom ,I have an old 915 basically a glorified 503 and i can make the wheat look like seed wheat

  • I just wish the shooting had not been from the 503, so both machines could be seen.

I love classic and antique combines!

  • Have you ever thought about putting in an airfoil sieve in the 503? I it really cleaned up the sample in our 5542.

  • are you in manitoba

  • its good to see the old combines running
