The three brothers spent a summer afternoon at the swimming pool in Washington, Iowa. (July 6, 2008) It was an afternoon of swimming, sliding down the waterslide and enjoying the spray equipment. There were at least four lifeguards watching the area and each hour, they did a pool check, where everybody got out of the pool to make sure no bodies were left. It costs about twelve dollars for admission for the four of us. There is also a snack bar within the pool area where the boys can get soda, popcorn, pizza rolls, ice-cream bars, and many other treats. Some children bring Frisbees and toys balls to play with.
The big brother dunked the middle brother and then the two little brothers ganged up on the big brother in a war of splashing. They all ended up friends again in the end.
I swam, read a book, and enjoyed the sun.
