  • The Chinese get such a bad rap on human rights but there are so many exceptions, they took in the Jews during WW II and helped America's fight the Japanese. They also share our values. Many Chinese know more about Abraham Lincoln than Americans. They are good people so please stop accusing them of trying to kill Americans with tainted milk, dangerous toys, manipulated yuan value, etc...

  • yeah, Chinese people traditionally are not sensitive to privacy issue as such. Sometimes people will ask (especially elderlies) what's your salary, whether you have a bf/gf, family relationship, about kids etc.

Not in a bad way, though. Just to show their thoughts on you, care about you.

Now it is getting much better.

  • Nice Short Video

  • this is great.

  • I heard When Germans asked Japanese "persue" Jews in Shanghai, Japanese asked a Jew why Hitler hate you, he said because they consider Jews short and more oriental, this saved Jews, when Shanghai is under Japanese control.

  • Indians and Arabs are not so good people. They are close to the Africans.Easy to lie and act inmorally.

  • To cbybee310: That "China" was Republic of China, aka Taiwan!

  • What a very touching piece of work. I just came back from my first trip to China. I got to visit my villages where my mom, grandma, and dad were from and explore those houses. My grandma has plenty of stories also from WWII and the Japanese invasion. She also told me about the communist uprising which led to her family's possessions being taken away.

  • Love it!

  • @HayabusaSenToTai

Your right. However,I was referring to the common accepted viewpoint that many scholars accept. In fact,I dare say, some Japanese scholars (brave people) as well.

  • @bobo441: The mainland Chinese have their own state-approved version of events, the Japanese and Taiwanese have the other version. I think this is one tangent not worth travelling over, so I'll leave it at that.
