Louise Harrison, sister of George Harrison of the Beatles came on the show, almost exactly 45 years to the day that the Beatles first appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show. She was there then, and at The Mystery Hour much later. She tells the story of being with the Beatles on that monumental day.

  • It's time for LouTube!

  • George and Lou were the Harrison siblings who showed the most fraternal resemblance. They all had the deepset Harrison eyes. George was Harrison from the eyes up. He was Louise from the nose down. George inherited Louise's ocular intensity and the French nose. He and Lou, his only sister inherited the French cheekbones. You can see George & Lou are Franco-Harrison. Harold Jr. looked mostly French and Peter was Harold Sr. all over again.

  • She and George were on the outs for years...

  • We know who her favorite Beatle is - George! You can see where Harold Sr. left his stamp on his only daughter, George's sister. Many think she was more French (Louise French Harrison) in personality, but she looked mostly Harrison!

Her brother was just so adorable and I love it when she tells George stories.

  • Lovely story ... !!
