Some audio
This twister really doesn't need an introduction. Among the various clips:
- full footage of the twister's trek through McConnell AFB
- Famous "tornado/rainbow" shot
- Husband filming tornado as wife goes ballistic.
Many others, too.
Credit: names will be listed as soon as I verify them all so please bear with me!

There was a video put out by one of the local tv stations after this tornado where they interviewed people. Does any body know where I can find it online. Meyers Nursery was my families buisness and I now live In South Carolina and would like to show my family the video. If anyone knows where I can find it would you please email me at mechanicrob@yahoo.com thank you

Really horrific memories. We lived in Timber Lake right off of 143rd and Harry and headed for the basement when the tornado was at Greenwich and headed out way. We lost our 6 foot wooden fence except for the corner, but it took out a housing addition along 143rd just NW of us and also Spring Dale just off of Kellogg and then headed for Andover. Thank goodness for the national Guard and others. Really bad memories of this huge tornado that just seemed to stay on the ground forever.

Man, this brings back some horrific memories. If I remember correctly, there was something like 17 that hit wichita that day. They pretty much surrounded my neighborhood, but never hit my home. I spent the next 3 days helping the citizens of Andover in clean up. Really awful stuff!

Was stationed and working at McConnell AFB when this hit. Near the flightline where all the B-1s and KC-35s were setting.

I was a teacher at White Elementary when this happened. We were having a school Fun Night at the school at the time this occurred. There were many families at the school when the beast tore through the neighborhood.
I have always thought of what might have happened to a lot of families if they had not been at that Fun Night on that day.

Man, I remember 4/26/91. I was working at K-Mart back then and had to take shelter since it was really, really close.
