I used "Anime Studio Pro 7" to make an animation of a scary monster. I created this animation because I wanted to make a video tutorial of how I animate with this animation software.

  • There is not a specific way to separate scenes in Anime Studio as far as I know. Sometimes I will save out an animation as a new file, so that it keeps my characters and make a new scene that way. Other times I will just bookend my keyframes in my timeline so it just pops to my new scene.

  • That was cool! :D

  • Critters! :)

  • @crowquill66 I'm sticking with Pro 7 =)

  • @Hepglon Thank you for comment. Yeah, it's a good Idea. I know many animators that like to keep separate Maya files as scenes as well. It helps to a have files referenced. I just got AS8. I'll look to see if there are any improvements in this area.

  • @JaysThoughts I don't think so, what you will want to do though, is export the first part to ".mov" format, then create a new file and import the ".mov" file you saved, set the frame number to one frame after the original animation ends, and start animating the next one.

  • Ooh! I like it, great job!

  • SWEET! I've been using Flash for years and have not produced anything in ages just because of the time and frustration with the program. I have ordered my copy of Anime Studio Pro 7 and I am so excited to try out! Cannot wait for it to arrive. Thanks for posting and keep up the great work.

  • If there's any way to actually start a new "scene" in the new animation.. I have no idea what it is. Help?

  • Kinda reminds me of Cheshire. ^w^
