@BLUELIONFILMS what you can do is just see at 0:41 screen. you see at the top right there something written "affect". beside it there are 4 symbols... see those? arrow ones?
- goood.. now click on all 4 of them.. and now your gradient won't move :D

I compleated my design, I grouped everything but when i move the design around the page my radial gradient doesnt move. What am i doing wrong?

@BLUELIONFILMS
To allow the gradient to move you need to the press the "Transform Gradients" button on the toolbar. This is the 3rd button in the section titled "Affect." Alternately, you can go to the "File->Inkscape Preferences" menu and then select "Transforms" in the left column. Then on the right, select the checkbox for "Transform gradients." This should help.

I saw the comment below, and I was wondering, is there a good way to manipulate the "8" so that it is in the correct perspective?
Thanks again!!

You can the view the video titled "Inkscape Tutorial - Text Effects" to learn one method for manipulating text.
To change the perspective of the text, do the following things differently from the video.
1) When drawing the polygon around the text, start at bottom left corner. Experiment with the shape.
2) Instead of selecting "Extensions->Modify Path->Envelope", select "Extensions->Modify Path->Perspective."
