@lipizannerlover No, I do understand why you said that, and I do agree with you that it could have used a lot more work. I'm just saying that it was not highschool students playing this. But I do respect your opinion.

@geemmkay32 I am. But, if you are going to be posting stuff like this on YouTube, then you need to expect real criticism. I'm just saying that the soloist could have kept the same tempo throughout the beginning.... I know that the soloist sets the rhythm, and when he would get nervous, it shows.... Practicing and playing it for the last concert would have been a safer bet.

Desert Ridge High School played this as well, I was honored enough to be apart of that group. This sounds okay, although I think the soloist should have worked a little bit harder on the shifting parts and intonation. I think that when the jig comes into play, counting needed to be worked on. The Violins were chasing each other in circles, and the cellos were doing everything they could to match. WAY TOO FAST 3:46, The violin is panicking. It makes it sound like crap. Just being honest.

We were soooo good last year!!!! The orchestra this year is good, but last year chamber was just amazing, esp Arman- intense :)
