Zeke Calabrese and Darrin Hartford Chased a cyclic supercell on a huge tornado outbreak day. March 28th, 2008 yielded 80 tornadoes across western Texas, Oklahoma panhandle, western Kansas and western Nebraska. The cell we intercepted near Sharon Springs, KS dropped multiple tornadoes, funnels, wall clouds, and superior structure as it moved north northeast over Goodland, KS and up near the Nebraska border. The last tornado(es) we saw was just after sun-down and it was hard to get decent footage without being grainy. We broke off the chase around 9:30 pm due to visibility and missed the nearly mile wide wedge that later formed near Bird City, KS.
