Im amazed by this car, cannot fault the build, I took it on a 24km unsealed road following another car, no dust inside, no squeaks, no rattles. six months 9000kms so far, its awesome.
I'm coming back to the Rondo after looking around for other cars. SUV's just are too thirsty, and I'm fed up with mpg lies from the manufacturers (Canada unregulated). RAV4 is too pricey. Mazda5 is too plasticky. VW too arrogant.
I'm kind of fed up with car shopping to be honest. I hate it every time around.
Had my '07, 4cyll. Rondo over 2 years now. Love it! Extra space when seats go down flat really helps. Ride is a bit hard and styling is "anonymous" .... neither problem would stop me from getting a new one when the time comes.
only the 4 cylinder 2.0L petrol available in australia, but rides smooth and feels so secure. Would have preferred a diesel. dog needs to go in a harness on a seat or you'll have to put one seat down
I was impressed as well. I thought the V6 had a little better suspension than the 4 cylinder one. Also the V6 doesn't use much more fuel apparently.
My only beef now is, where does the dog sit? I'd like him to sit on the floor and not on a seat. But I don't want to loose all the cargo space either.
here in sydney car comes with a five year warranty, eight years if you get it serviced with the dealer. if you need to know the finer detail, then have a look at the service schedule of what needs to be replaced and when and then check prices for those parts and labor hours at the service center of your choice or the dealter's service center.

Remember, buy a white Rondo, and the 200$ charge called the colour-code charge for fancy paint does not apply! Remind the salesman of this, eh.
