Ralph Peters, Bill O'Reilly Dub Bowe Bergdahl "Crazy, Disturbed"

Fox News military analyst Lt. Col Ralph Peters, who just sayd earlier suggested that the Taliban kill captured American soldier and suspected deserter Bowe Bergdahl and "save us a lot of legal hassles," goes on "The O'Reilly Factor."

O'Reilly says that to leave his base and his weapon, "He's crazy... he's a nut."

"He may be mentally disturbed," adds Peters.

im a soldier stationed in ft. richardson, alaska where PFC Bergdahl's unit is stationed... i cant believe how Peters is speaking out about this kid on national tv. yes, we are trained on what to do and what not to do if we are captured but honestly what this kid is saying is obviously being said to keep himself alive.

He is from the worst generation of Army officers in the history of the Army. A generation that served an entire 20 or 30 year career in peacetime. Had a "zero defect" attitude about their troops. In during the cutbacks that reduced the Army by 50% and would willingly throw junior officers and NCOs under the bus to be removed from service while pulling every possible angle to protect their own careers. Offficer corp was full of dishonest turds caught in the West Point cheating scandal of 1976.

I like how he's talking about how it feels to be in a war, and he's never served. I looked up his record, and he's from a generation that's famous among the military for being really hard on the enlisted, being hyper-gung-ho, and just generally not taking the needs of the enlisted into account.

not sure, havent seen a video in a quite a while. His family and the rest of us in his home state continue to pray for his return to his family. its sad that the media wants to turn him into a traitor because he is forced to read propaganda to keep himself alive. they assume the worst but unless Bowe comes home, we will never know what really happened.

@mrlopez512 To many civilians join the military not understanding what it means when you raise your hand and swear the oath. It is not just what he is saying but the circumstances of his capture. How could this Man be captured on a patrol yet the army has his weapon. I doubt he would go on patrol without his weapon.

If you look at the POWs from the first gulf war and this guy, it is obvious that the Taliban have had little resistance from him. Which is his duty as a POW.
