At one time, 3rd Battalion 5th Marines was the most highly decorated unit in the United States Marine Corps. They might still be. I know this: they've certainly taken their lumps in this deployment and have given every bit as they got. I spent 30 years 3 months and 10 days in the Corps and when I watched this video my eyes began to sweat. My only thought was, "they really are America's finest." Semper Fidelis

i feel rlly stupid 4 asking this, but wat does "3/5 marines" mean? it makes me think theyre only like, 3/5 there like theyre missing limbs or something. i know it sounds stupid but, ya.....

3/5 is for third battalion 5th marines. It is kinda the way they divide them all up into different "sections" and their way of identifying them.
