  • Thank You 4 sharing this with the world. All it's missing is sinners praying at the alter & then it's a typical revival song from one of our Ole Timey Foot Wasing Baptist churches in N. Ga. !!!!!!!! :-)

  • For all North Georgia Primitive Quartet Fans...They will be @ Greater Heights Baptist Church on Post Road Ga. November 19th 2010 @ 7:30 pm

  • beautifully done!!! love these guys.

  • so beautiful and so true. I could listen to there guts all day!!

  • As one who has been hardened by life, this song is one thing that can bring me to tears. I love these gentlemen. They were friends who opened their homes to my family when we visited Candler, NC. I also remember them staying with us on occasion. These are truly men of God who live that which they sing. May God bless them.

  • I remember hearing this very song sung many many years ago on a little AM gospel station back home in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. The Primitive Quartet have been a staple in southern gospel music for well over 4 decades, and hearing this song reminds me of my childhood. I grew up in a wonderful Christian home with a father who preaches, and faithful Godfearing mother. My folks would have the radio on every Sunday morning, and I would hear this song getting ready for church.

  • Wow, does this bring back my childhood memories. I grew up on wonderful music like this. We lived close to the woman who wrote this song. What a treasure.

  • Thank you for taking the time to post this. I listen to this excact recording as a child with my grandfather, who is now at rest. I will see him again. Again Thank you the Primitive's are doing the Lord's will and this song proves it. They are good servants of the Lord.
