tomodachi=friend. tamago=egg. so its a play on those two words, meaning, of course, 'egg friend':)

I am absolutely beginner and innocent in japanese. My daughter started many years ago but then she stopped as the schoolteacher was not nice....

Also, another word for plum, the traditional word for it there is sumomo, I think anyways:P I forget:P

酸桃 (sumomo) I believe is a word that refers to a specific type of plum that grows in Japan. Puramu refers to the western plum.
