i can overclock to 3.66ghz with a q9450 but anything over 3.2ghz and the sata sockets don't read my hard-drives "sigh..."

No, funny joke but this was real now I have OCed the e6550 to 3.67GHz on my new board Asrock P45xe and I will do a video when I get the time....
I just like to see how far things can be pushed without the extra cooling fuss, but I am getting all in 1 water cooling for CPU!

ya for some reason the board has some sata bug and IDE drive allowed me to reach much higher overlocks> Try to a: update bios or B: like I did get hold of a IDE drive and see!

CPU voltage setting needs to be high for stability if there are probes with access wait and see if its just a delay first if not then faster Ram will make for more stable Overclock use 5-5-5-15 or more depending on demand!

No because the dominator RAM Rules get at least 1066MHz which is PC2-8500 or PC2-10000 which is a little more pricey.
The Higher the PC2 number the better alright!
