Fantastic! Glad to see it's coming along! I would love to come over and help sometime. I probably ought to do a layout update, but I would have to make stuff up because I haven't really done anything! :) I am getting a new engine soon. It is probably in a UPS trailer on a train right now. Since you have the Woodward mine, you should get a 2-8-0 and number it 28, like at the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum.

It is good to have helpers to work on the RR.
Will, I think that the 2-8-0 is THE engine for the Birmingham District RR, so I do have several. None lettered for Woodward, but certainly want to do that. Woodward, Sloss and TCI could use the Red Mountain Branch line.
