This is a video submitted together with our recent paper, "Pre-Patterns for Designing Embodied Interactions in Handheld Augmented Reality Games". This paper won the best paper award of the "Arts, Media and Humanities" track of ISMAR 2011.
This video include more than 20 examples from existing handheld augmented reality games. We summarized nine patterns, including "Device Metaphor", "Control Mapping", "Seamful Design", "World Consistency", "Landmarks", "Personal Presence", "Living Creatures", "Body Constraints", and "Hidden Information". Enjoy!
