One of the most important qualities you must possess to be a good wildlife photographer is patience. In this episode we join Michael as he waits for whitetail deer bucks...hoping to get that next cover shot.

  • Excellent and Inspiring

  • wow, you're a pretty fast walker.

  • Great vid. Its 99% patience 1% technique!

  • as soon as i heard pacience i was like not for me then

  • Common sense always tells me exactly what you have said in your video, then I lose patience after five hours of waiting then as soon as I move , stand up , I scare off an animal that was close but not close enough to see from the position I was in.

Its a bummer but how long do you wait ? From dawn till dusk, yeah probably.... But thats real patience.

  • This is something people who don't do it don't understand. I took my wife with me once and within 30 minutes she was getting antsy, wanting to walk around. I of course obliged but laughed and told here I normally don't move from my spot for 8-12 hours, depending on the day, and what I'm trying to get.

    Great video!

  • Which videohead you recommend for video recording with telephoto lenses: Gimbal Head or Video head? I'm ready to spent enough money to get propper head, but I'm not ready to buy two heads. What videohead do you recommend?

  • Excellent videos and advice.
