I adore them! i liked the line up with John Ford and Rick Wakeman of course! i have to admit I had a little tiny crush on john ford (im only 24!) I still go to see them play as often as poss....i love hangman and papist...i originally just appreciated the sound of it...then my dad sat me down and helped me listen to the lyrics...wow!!

Unless I'm mistaken, this looks like it was taped at Cafe Lena's in Saratoga NY. That stage sure looks like it, anyway.I saw the Strawbs there, a few years ago & after the show, they went to the Bar downstairs of Lena's. I was able to hang with them for like 2 hours talking about their music, & all of the Great Music of the 70's. Dave Cousins,was even nice enough to buy me a Brew. I have been a Fan since their very first LP!!

Fantastic!!! I still go to see these guys every year when they come to Rochester NY. One of my favorite bands ever, and they have cleverly adaprted their electric material to an acoustic configuration, without losing their intensity. Thanks!!!!
