@inkey2 yes... a hot sicko... but no, the darting eyes means that he's probably nervous since it's his first happearance. he is very talented in his work. such a legend that will make it through history. he is also handsome and charming, full of charisma. :)

There is something so darling and perfect about him. I just saw "Psycho" for the first time and against my better judgment, fell in love. Tony was remarkably talented, I don't think anyone could have played Norman Bates as well as he did. Thank you for uploading these, they are so fun to watch! I wish movie stars today were more like those of the '60s...

he has the boyish/mannish charm of tom ford, designer of fashion. but that's just my perception. r there any men like that now??? jon hamm?? ehh?

Tony Perkins had two hit records in 1957...'Moonlight Swim' [later pilfered by Elvis] and 'I've Got Date with the Prettiest Girl in School'. He could sing very well indeed.

CUTE CUTE CUTE!!! And his neck as he laughs at 3:11 after "Desire Under the Elms" is mentioned, SO sexy...

I love him.
Thanx for posting. Perkins looks gorgeous in this clip. That Look Homeward Angel production must have been something to behold.
Dorothy Kilgallen rules. She knew a lot about modern music and probably picked up Perkins' vibes early.
Speaking of Kilgallen, Perkins appeared in a fascinating WML 1961 episode in which the panel was Martin Gabel, Debbie Reynolds, Perkins, and Arlene Francis -- and Dorothy Kilgallen (recovering from a hospitalization) appeared as the mystery guest.
