@TaylorHetherington It's not that uncommon to DNA test your birds to learn the sex.

So cute, he looks like my conure, he is very smart.

@LizaLavolta oh no, I am so sorry to hear that! I do not know what I would do without my two GCCs. I'll pass along the compliment to Honey!

When Nate (my old bird) was on my shoulder, he would back up, put his but in the air and poop (when he had too poop). We think he was just being nice to us...

@SecondCocacola Honey does that to me as well! Some birds just go farther out of their way to not "soil" their perch.. so to speak. We are lucky :)

She is so sweet! I just got a pineapple GCC and she loves being on my shoulder so much that I'm not sure if she'd like coming down to learn tricks. :P What treats are you giving her in this video?

@fuzzyferretluver I am giving him safflower seeds. I've recently switched over to bits of almond slices because I can ration out how much of the treat I'd like to give him. It's definitely a good idea to teach them step up and of course being on your hand. I put my two on my shoulder all of the time - after all, it is easier to do stuff when my hands are not occupied! - but my new GCC likes to nip a little too hard sometimes so she stays on my hand whenever we are together.
