Is that truth Puoluori?? I bought 1 week ago a BMW E46 328i automatic and the response is inmediatly, its amazing, but always in cataloges says 193 hp , I never be agreed with that point , I feel more power in this engine, this car has just 10milles! less used. Hugs! :)

I've heard about 323i (~185) and 328i (200+) with M52 having more power than bmw quotes (some say they under quoted for tax reasons), and you can get even more out on high quality petrol 330d E90 231hp was tested by AutoWeek (Dutch) not too long ago, and had almost 270hp. BMW just builds brilliant engines (and cars of course), and doesn't brag too much.

Turboheitzer, look at other 328's you will be happy, yours goes well, kingsbs even thinks it's 330 lol :)

My daily driver is E46 328i and E30 325 weekends. 328i is more responsive with Signature Motoring performance (CAI) intake kit. Installed it myself in under half hour. HP increase on the E46 is about 13.5HP for a cost of $170 or around $17 per HP gain. Best 1st performance mod to do. Other application data:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

@Suprahet geht auf jeden Fall bergab so läuft kein 328i auf der geraden;) Aber zum 318i ist ein 328i doch ein Riesenunterschied den du merken wirst

rennen E46 328er allgemein so? ist der hier unmodifiziert? war das bergab?

fahre momentan einen e46 318i der lief zu beginn sehr schlecht, musste einiges erneuern, dann ging er "gut", aber jetzt brauchts was größeres. habe aber schon ettliche videos von 328er gesehen die sehr zäh hochziehen. VANOS und LMM werden dran schuld sein, oder? brauch nur eine Referenz fürs Probefahren.

8.9 l/100km ist ja der hammer! mein 318i braucht mit 17" 225er 8.5 l/100km, mit 16" 205er 8.2 l/100km

I’m happy with my 328i, but the only performance mods are sport suspection and the Signature Motoring performance intake for about $150. Signature Motoring kit adds around 11HP on the dyno, great sound, and the best performance upgrade for the money. See my channel videos!

-Adds 9-11 HP

-Never replace filter again (uses K&N filter)

-GREAT SOUND

-Installs in maybe 30-45 min. K&N filter lasts a lifetime.

I'm thinking maybe performance exhaust, but eh.
