  • what happens when your floating and you run out of air

  • That's a great question... If you're floating in a body of water you just unzip and breath from outside the suit. If you fall into an open tank of chemicals then you better hope your back up man gets you help right away.

  • does it still have its floatation when you unzip

  • Yes it does... Two reasons... One the suit is made up of different layers with small pockets of air between them. Two you're wearing a SCBA that has a tank of air on it. So depending on the product you're in and theory of displacement you should float.

  • A little too much beer in the hospitality room?

  • That's more true than you can believe... LOL

  • @agentz100 You wave your arms in the air to indicate you want out!

  • They Make Me Think Of Little Pyros.

  • I took this same class in baltimore in 2009....AWESOME CLASS

  • it would be bad, if you float out to sea with only a suit as your boat.

  • my friend has been happen before. Those suit was save his life. Because the lake has nasty acid from leak tanker which can burn and eat skin. he accident slip and fell in water while he wear hazmats suit. Thanks god for that.

  • Thanks for stopping by miniroll32. Yes it is fun once you convince the participants that they're not going to sink. It is also tougher than it looks because your center of gravity is thrown off by the SCBA on your back acting like a huge bubble.
