If there were Orthodox Christian politicians, then it would be fine to have a collaboration of Church an State; but since these FundaMENTAList Political Christians are spewing heresies about God and Christianity, they must be stopped and put in their place. The fact of the matter is that Protestantism and Roman Catholicism are both heresies which have caused extremism in the Christians. This is a Christianity that is similar to Islam and not Christianity.

He is correct in saying that there must be a separation of Church and State, for we cannot expect everyone to conform to these Christian teachings they are trying to be shoved down their throats. The whole "Turn or Burn" theology of Fundamentalists does not work in the arena of politics anymore; these Christians are not speaking the Truth. They are extremists who have no fellowship in the ancient Church of Christ. They are teaching an extremist Christianity, one which is not Orthodox.

@JoaquinJB I can understand his positions and opinions. He sees that Fundamentalist Christians are giving Christianity a bad reputation and ruining the country - and this is true. For never before have there been so many atheists as there are today; the people turn into atheists because of people who "shove Jesus down their throats". When Shaeffer said that "Salvation is a journey", he was giving the true Orthodox Christian understanding of the matter. Not the nutty FundaMENTAList understanding.
