This short screen capture shows the Nokia N900 capturing a WPA2 handshake and then performing a dictionary attack using the aircrack-ng suite.

In this case only the client was present. The N900 is acting as the access points and captures the handshake when the client tries to authenticate against the "fake" access point.

Aircrack-ng is used to perform a dictionary attack to find the key.

  • what's name of the song? Where can i get it?

    tnx

  • I wrote the song, it has no name yet and isn't complete. When I finish it I will post another video.

  • nice music timing

  • Thanks, it helps when you write your own music so you can make it as long or short as you want. :)

  • So it's still in testing? Will it be available for download via App Manager after testing?

  • It is still in extra-devel probably because injection doesn't work correctly. Once it is all working I think you will see it show up in the regular repository (default configuration of App Manager).

  • if i install android will i still be able to use aircrack-ng?

  • Where can i find a good dictionary file?

  • at 0:57 passphrase is "nebraska"

  • This is also possible on all rooted android devices!! Install Linux installer.

  • But then, the password would have to be included in the .lst file?

What if a foreign neighbour uses it's name with accented characters etc?

If I smash my keyboard with my head and accept that as a password, would this software still be able to crack it? =D

  • cyzoonic, the dictionary (password.list) is 33 GB ? how did you manage to put it in n900 ?

  • damn I want that Music :D

  • do you have a complete tutorial, from installing all the AIR suite to step by step instructions with commands? :D
