  • 1. The remix has more horns, it's funkier. 2. There's nothing wrong with instrumental tracks, they're to showcase the producer (Eric B). 3. They weren't "rapping together" as you say, one rapped the other produced. 4. Rakim was known for the laid back, unenthusiastic voice.  People dissed him for it back then too, but he still became known as the god MC.

  • @thedexterbros I know man right, I really don't understand it I thought such a legend would easy to listen to enjoy but I couldn't bring my self to listen to after a while. and I feel that lyrics are the most important part of rap music, so I think that the same lyrics with the different track is lazy.
