Do not confuse intelligence with chicanery, darrenmuse. Hoffman is a very intelligent guy, and also honorable. He conceded, based on the information given to him, which turned out to be false. I am sure we will find out how it happened. And yes, I would rather have a stupid conservative that a smart liberal, although the latter is probably an oxymoron :-)
