I am so happy to see afs showing how smart they are..I knew they were but..they like

to hide it..lol..this is amazing..did it take a long time? Is it liver bait or what?..I watched several and was stunned...told my afs they were going to try..Shows it can be done!

I LOVE this video! Stanley Coren, I hope someone's dog pees on your shoes for saying sighthounds and Afghans in particular can't be trained. Shows what you don't know about how to reach dogs who have been independent hunters for millenia. Aiden, you and your teammate are an inspiration for us all!

Yep, know Laura! My best friend was Kathryn Heilman, 35+ year breeder of China Chimes Shih Tzu (and daughter of AKC breeder/judge Irene Strapp of IreJa German Wirehaired Pointers. Kathie became smitten with Affs and started talking to Laura and got Ch. Kazban Phantom of China Chimes. Later came Ch. Simbah and Ch. Saharah, the littermates. When she passed, Phantom was 10; the littermates were 1-1/2. Had to put Phantom down at age 13...

Darn! I'm at Ft. Bragg, NC. I'm a Great Dane gal, but when my best friend passed in '05, I became caretaker and Mommy to her 3 Kazban Affies (and 9 retired Shih Tzu).

People on the Affie list I belong to are hurt because 2 years in a row, they Aff has been called the dumbest breed. The two littermates I had shared the same thoughts because they worked in tandem to counter surf or play "keep away" with stolen articles of mine.
