Try and look at things from another perspective...Imagine you had a connection with someone who had trained their whole lives to achieve a gold medal and they were distraught and you had to interview them. Inverdale had compassion for these guys and to them it is the primary importance in there lives. He cared about there feelings and its especially difficult when you have to stick to a strict schedule making the encounter more intense and thus making it difficult to control emotions...

Just looked up this Kay Burley.Sky news.If she does her job with allowance for emotion on a genuine remorseful report.That can't be bad.

A reporter being tearful over what is just sport is not acceptable,and not what we pay our licence fee for.
