@voodooxcxl TONS of people ride 50* plates for downhill. I prefer them because they feel grippier and more responsive, as well as having a stronger center point. The added "twitchiness" doesn't bother me.

@voodooxcxl in no way should that have come across as defensive. i was merely sharing my own experiences with someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. but apparently you were joking. well its called sarcasm and it doesn't work over the internet unless you are very obvious about it.

@leighgriffiths I was making a joke lol no need to get defensive about your 50*trucks. Now im sure you arent riding such high angles doing what kevin here is doing, that would make things about 10x harder (this is also a joke) lol

@voodooxcxl so since i ride 50 degree basplates, does that mean i'm riding the wrong ones? no. it all comes down to the rider. the bushing setup does however make a great deal of difference when you have it right for YOU. this is where most people go wrong. you could have Aeras, but they would be worthless with the wrong bushing setup.
