The closing credits of this great 1983 episode

Tony Filosa in an interview with Jason Hernandez (if my mind serves me right) said he ran into Peter Tomarken somewhere at one point after his win.

I used to have this episode where it started when Tony began spinning, and it was in better condition than what I'm seeing, though I understand the point of it being traded a lot

  • What was the maximum amount of days for PYL, 5?

  • Oh, come on nextbarker! It's obvious that most shows allow 5 days, even this one did.

Nope. It's unlimited for the amount of days during the $25,000 limit

  • @mtiller2006 Actually, Mike, I did some research, and in the early days of the program, contestants were \allowed to stay on for four days or until they won more than $25,000. Starting on November 1, 1984, contestants were allowed to stay on for five days or until they won more than $50,000.

  • @DorvellTStewart I'm just glad the staff of "PYL" appreciated the work that Rod did for them, unlike the way Bob Barker treated him on "The Price Is RIght" towards the end!

  • Yes, he was because remember CBS established a $25,000 in 1983, so with the $34,000 he retired undefeated.

  • Was he the first undefeated champ on press your luck?

  • USA Network needs to get PYL and other game shows back they know how to air them, unlike GSN.

  • Actually, the 1986 Season was shown in 1995, so I would think this was either 1992 or 1993.

  • This was recorded off of USA network.

  • Around 1983.
