Experiencing Frelon's Fabulous France, 90 minutes from Paris or Dijon, is an absolute delight. Katherine was nice enough to give us a cooking lesson on the tricks and tips for perfect gougeres. Michelle M. Winner, the Culinary Traveler and Kurt Winner were hands on and Maralyn D. Hill, The Epicurean Explorer, was behind the camera.
Check out CityRoom.com for a post with Katherine's recipe with highlights from Kurt.http://www.cityroom.com/stories/gourmet/2011/12/20/making-gougere-in-the-bourgogne-france/
You can rent the beautiful facility for a get-a-way, or attend one of her scheduled schools. The building was completely restored and one breathes a sigh of relief as you discover the comfortable and luscious surroundings. The charming town is nearby where the movie "Chocolate" was filmed, along with a market, nice restaurants and everything you need. This was certainly one of the highlights of our trip. We only wish we would have had another day or two.
This is a Where and What in the World Production by Maralyn D. Hill.
