Utena doesn't die. The entire series is symbolic of the transition between teenager and adulthood.

The "revolution" is merely growing up and coming to terms with reality. Touga, in the final bit, wants to take the revolution away from Utena because he realizes he loves her and wants to keep her innocent, for example. This is also Touga's coming of age.

"Left your world" is merely another way of saying that Utena has moved to the real world.
