@noseypeople21 440 cant make 8000 horse power. Ur guys for the 70's didnt call them the STREET KINGS because the 440 was faster. The 440 did have the same block, and had better oil valleys...but to say a better motor. no. Stock . l88 corvette and hemi cuda from dealer ran 11.5 sec. the corvette being MUCH lighter. Mopars are Huge cars running with top dogs because they can.

why set your standards sooo low hemi's suck most mopar guys would agree the 440 is a better motor....mopars are a waste of money!!! most mopar guys have to live in a box and eat noodles to beat a chevy....

remeber the nova is real light it could beat a hemi ill bet .;;. hey who won most of the 1/4 races chevy did back in the early 60's with the small block bored out to a 401 then the 409 came out and was eating fords and chryslers for breakfast then later on gm failed. Then chrysler 426 hemi and ford with the 429 was kickin chevys ass !

Dodge used Dana 60 rear ends,and the 727 Torqueflite was the best high performance stock auto.trans. Also the fastest 1/4 mile car in the world is the Army rail powered by a 500 cu. in. Hemi producing 8000 H.P.
