I actually work at Cat and set up this train service with the NS. Every week, we consolidate machines from 3 of our plants in Illinois, and they all depart Decatur, IL, on Thursday. These end up in Savannah, GA, by that Sunday. It's a semi-unit train in that it doesn't have to stop to be measured at interchanges even though it's full of high/wide loads. Cut about 9 days out of our transit time

Hey bud, try this. Type in the search bar: Norfolk Southern NS 058 Military Train BNSF Locos Army Tanks. A video with this exact title should be somewhere in the lineup.

@BlancettModeling I didn't see a crash, I'm saying that we waited quite a while for the train to finish crossing, and the ambulance on the other side had to wait for it.

I like the idiot who sees the train an turns to go to the next crossing. Probably took him 2 minutes extra to avoid waiting for a 30 second train crossing.
This was shot at the intersection of buford Highway and abbotts bridge road, in Duluth Georgia.
