Greg Dyke killed British wrestling. He cancelled it. If people blame Daddy it's because he wasn't a technician and a lot of people resent that. It was the same act for years and naturally, a lot of people got bored. Still, wrestling managed to pull the numbers. The things that ultimately killed British wrestling were it was stuck in the 50s and the in-ring death of Mal Kirk, which Daddy never forgive himself for. Daddy's appearances became less regular and its TV show was cancelled a year later.

thanks so much for uploading this, so many fond memories of watching LWT as a small boy round at my Grandads house on his big colour telly (all 3 channels of it lol) when you could watch all sport on TV at home for FREE, not haveing to buy a TV licenese and still pay through the nose for the privalege like today!
