Charlie and Norma swing dancing circa 1950-1951. The original recording has no sound, but at Charlie's request I added Don't Be Cruel by Elvis as a soundtrack. This is a nice home movie, documenting how people danced at the time. They were filmed at Barcroft Apartments in Arlington, Virginia.

Too bad 'ol Charlie didn't remember what song they were really dancing to. It' most certainly wouldn't have been "Don't Be Cruel." Being it was 1950-51, it could have been a "Chatanoogie Shoe Shine Boy," " Come-On-A-My House," or "Rag Mop." Nice film, though.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. We discussed what the original music might have been before putting up the video, and we know the song came out after the film was made, he just likes Don't Be Cruel. I found it fits the dance moves very well.
