NES Track & Field - All Bonus Babies

Track & Field for the NES is a classic button-masher requiring strength, speed, and timing on the part of the player. Documented in the manual in a rather cryptic fashion, and usually overlooked in discussions of the game, are the so-called "Bonus Babies", each one of which gives the player 3000 bonus points (except for the skeet shooting and archery Bonus Babies.) This video shows each Bonus Baby.

How to get them:

100m, 110m Hurdles: Get the exact same time as the CPU runner.
Long Jump, Triple Jump: Have the last three digits of your jump's distance match.
Javelin Throw: Run fast enough and throw it high enough to go high off the screen.
Skeet Shooting: Hit every skeet. When the 3000-point UFO comes out, hit it on the left side to make the 5000-point hawk (which can be shot twice on each side) come out.
Archery: Get your first 600-point bullseye of the round on the next-to-last arrow. Hitting the balloon earns 1000 points and three extra arrows.
High Jump: Clear the bar with all three jumps in a single round.

man i love this game, played it so so much, we used to use batteries, marbles or magic-markers instead of our fingers to get better times etc. 10/10 for replay value.

There is a correction, however. In skeet shooting, you can shoot the bird twice on each side, for a total of 4 hits and 20,000 extra points.

one of my all time favorite nes games. best tool used for running, get an old school chap stick (it was actually more of a tube) cap and put it on your finger and vigorously run it across the buttons.
