This past fall a guy broke his leg or something, anyways. The neighbors come with 10 12 row beet harvestors and a ton of trucks and they took off his beets in a couple days.So there are some places that are like this:) Also it was fortunate that the full campaign hadnt started yet. There's also a farm rescue which helps out ppl who have suffered some sort of loss.

In todays world it is so hard to get folks to come together like that. I tried a few years ago, when my cousin broke his leg in 4 places, other then their combine and ours 3 others showed up. One of the 3 was too small to take the windrow, so he had to quit. But we all had a good day and it was alot of fun working together for a cause. nice to see a fairly new 4010 in the mix in the video

The guy I work for has a 4020....that's bigger than any tractor in the vid and that's his little tractor. Those days must have been different. My family had several tractors in the video. Of the tractors in the vid my grandpa had a Ford 960, Case DC, Case SC, and my dad had a 730D. My dad used the first 3 when he was little and we still have the DC, unfortunately it's parked in the shed not running and we don't farm anymore. All I really want to do is buy some ground and start again.

back when people truly cared about their neighbors. Now days u cant even get hired help to drive tractors with cabs and A/C much less a cabless tractor. My hats off to these folks.
