if he had drawn 2 blanks, you could have destroyed the still 1/1 student /w scorp.
then if he attacked with both, youd have blocked the teacher, then umbra to scorpion and kill 4-loyalty gideon (purists couldnt have saved him!). of course, he might have not attacked with teacher,which probably would have been the case if he is a good player, or stall /w gids +2 ablty but you never know ;-)

I should not have conceded, but I'm certain I was dead there. Given his willingness to attack with Gideon, I'm sure he would have attacked with both Teach and Gideon next turn, I would have had to chumpblock Gideon, and then I would be in the position of having to chump Gideon every turn.
