ah, just did a bit of research apparently wicca is neopagan which would explain the confusion

i should really learn more about wicca, it seems like a good religion ^^

unfortunately my mum hates it, im from a closed minded catholic family & she seems to think that being in wicca involves devil worship -.-

It is Wiccan, and there is no 'pagan history' of Wiccan. The Rede is a variant on the Golden Rule though, which is found in many religions.

)O( = Trafficlights1 - It is the Wiccan Rede - only Wiccans follow it. Rede means councel, or advice, not Law or Belief.

To say the 'Pagan Rede' would just be wrong, because their are too many pagan paths to actually cover them all in one 'rede' without contradicting itself.

it wiccan or pagan? ive heard redes going by both names, and 1 rede, ''an ye harm none do what ye will'' said to be both, mainly as wiccan but someone said it dated back in pagan history long before wicca

but anyway, which is his? its really good ^^
